Invest in yourself – come move with us in January
Happy New Year!
Start your year off right and invest in yourself. For only $15 per class, our Movement for Longevity exercise classes will help you improve your balance, get stronger and move with confidence.
For many people, we’ve seen getting down to the floor and back up change from a source of fear and trepidation to a source of joy. In just a few weeks, people that couldn’t do a simple balance drill without support have confidently done the same drill with no support and their eyes closed!
In January, you have four opportunities to join a group of people that inspire us and each other to be better:
Saturday mornings – January 4th and 18th from 9:30 to 11:00am
Tuesday evenings – January 7th and 21st from 4:30 to 6:00pm
What do we do at class?
We’ll teach you how to assess your stress level and know which drills are best for you. We then warm you up with some gentle movements and teach you how to align your own spine. After you’re warmed up, we’ll explore various strength and balance drills. Each class is a bit different. We repeat some drills to reinforce your skill and introduce some new drills to challenge you in novel ways.
At the end of each class, we give you written summaries of the drills. Do them at home between workshops to accelerate your progress. For many of the drills, videos are available on Jim’s blog: https://www.simplybettercoaching.com/category/movement-drill/
No experience needed: We will meet you where you are and help you find what you need. Wear clothes that are comfortable for exercise.
Location: Discover Health Functional Medicine Center, 24 Pleasant St, Conway
Cost: $15 per person for each workshop

What good looks like
A few years ago, I was helping an intern prepare to coach a class and I asked her how she would know the class was a success. She did not know how to answer and I knew that improving her ability to coach would be a struggle until she had an answer. To know...
