The value of struggle

There are times that I wish learning things were easier. A couple of my current hobbies require hours and hours of practice to make even slow progress.

I need to remind myself that most of the things that I’ve enjoyed over the years took dedication. Although some things are inherently fun, others are made fun though the skill demanded to do them well. Although practice can be a grind, achievement brings joy.

Which do you enjoy more, things that come easy or those at which you struggle before you succeed?
