He who hesitates…

He who hesitates…

I have a habit of avoiding tasks that involve setting up appointments, especially when it’s going to cost me. Yesterday, I finally called the auto shop to arrange new tires for my summer car. Thinking I could get them quickly, I kept putting it off until the weather warmed up.

I foolishly failed to consider our current environment. The bad news is the tires are on back order until the end of June. If I can’t get my inspection sticker, I will be stuck driving the Jeep instead. The only consolation is that I don’t have to pay for the tires until they are installed.

I learned my lesson and promptly called to set up appointments for a Roli checkup and to get our septic tank pumped. Luckily, I got the two appointments I needed with no issues. In the end, doing them seemed so easy that I wonder why I had waited.

When do you procrastinate?

Hopefully, my questions cause you to reflect on your own thinking, relationships or choices. Maybe I even inspire you to make positive changes.

Right and wrong

If you do it differently than me, does that mean one of us is wrong? What if we’re both wrong? Or maybe there’s more than one way and we’re both right. When I was younger, apparently I knew it all and did not realize that was a problem. I still remember one of our...
