No right answers
When working on creative projects, there are no right answers. One of the challenges this creates is how to know when you’re done. At some point, you have to call pencils down and put your work out there. As Steve Jobs said, real artists ship.

If you read my blogs on the site, you might have noticed some design changes over the last few weeks. I have been trying to do a little each day to refresh our website and as I learn new things, I experiment with different looks. My biggest challenge is knowing when to stop tweaking. If you typically read the blog on email, read a post on the site and let me know what you think.

Assume good intentions – retail edition
I previously wrote about assuming good intentions in relationships. The same advice applies to dealing with your customers. It's time to let go of another unpleasant memory. I went in to grab a drink at an underground station convenience store. When I got to the...
Fend off your cravings
When you get a craving, one of the tactics to fend it off is to delay it by telling yourself, “Maybe later." If you wait long enough, it might pass and you will skip it altogether. Another route is to decide when you will indulge. If you decide, "I don’t have treats...
